This session will provide updates related to the federal drug and alcohol testing regulations, 49 CFR Parts 655 and 40. The presenter will share the latest information from the FTA Annual Drug & Alcohol Program National Conference, to include oral fluid testing as a new drug testing method, policy revision requirements, and testing program best practices. The session will conclude with the 2024 analysis of Florida transit agency drug and alcohol testing data.
