Karen B. Rose Deigl is the President and CEO of the Senior Resource Association, a position she has held since 2006. The Senior Resource Association is a non-profit organization providing home and community-based services benefiting older and disabled adults in Indian River County. In addition, the organization is the community transportation coordinator providing door-to-door demand response service and is contracted by Indian River County providing mass transit for residents and visitors of the county. In 2018, SRA was appointed as the community transportation coordinator for Martin County. Since 2020, SRA has operated the Advantage Ride Program for four counties – Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee.
Ms. Deigl holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the University of Florida. Since 2016, she has held an elected position as Indian River County Hospital District Trustee. She ensures fiscally sound and responsible resolutions are made in order to provide healthcare and better quality of life for all Indian River County residents.
