About me
Lexi Higgins is the Director of Industry Engagement at TAT (Truckers Against Trafficking). In this role, she oversees TAT’s bus program, which works to educate and mobilize members of the motorcoach, transit and school transportation industries to combat human trafficking in the course of their everyday jobs. She also oversees TAT's Youth on Transportation Initiative, which unites stakeholders to protect youth from trafficking and exploitation as they move through their days. Lexi holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. Past experience includes positions with the Association of Junior Leagues International, the University of Washington Women’s Center, and in Guatemala as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where she partnered with a local NGO to train and empower rural women’s groups.
