About me
Dr. Xiang (Jacob) Yan leads the Just and Green Transportation Lab at the University of Florida. His work centers on the innovative and thoughtful application of data science and artificial intelligence to improve multimodal transportation systems. Bridging urban planning, data science, and transportation engineering, he takes an interdisciplinary approach to transportation research that connects technological innovations with community needs. He works closely with public agencies and industry partners to develop intelligent decision-support tools that can help them better plan for and manage public transit systems and new mobility services.
